Who Is Kiya Ashton?
Kiya Ashton is a folk-esque singer/songwriter from Guernsey with a multi-genre sound inspired by 90s alt rock & pop, trad folk and everything in between. Her sound is often identified by her strong emotive vocals and delicate finger-style guitar work.
Kiya often plays local festivals & venues with her originals, as well as restaurants and weddings with a cover set made up of old rock classics, modern pop, country and some of her own favourite folk & pop punk songs sprinkled in.
Kiya also started teaching vocals with Thirst Music School in 2022, taking pride in guiding her students through gigs and grades.
